keyboard stops working :/

sometimes, for no apparent reason, (PS2, Logitech) keyboard simply stops working in debian_testing_amd64, LXDE.
I don't think its hardware issue, as after reboot it works nice.

what could cause it?

How long have you had the keyboard? If it is an older keyboard it could be the beginning of the end.

Oh, I should've told you that the keyboard port could be going bad. Intermittent problems are often caused by hardware; powersupplies and RAM are examples of hardware that can start failing, with the sign of their failing being intermittent problems.
