kernel-tree-2.6.5

I'm currently looking to upgrade to the 2.6.5 kernel and when I did an "$ apt-cache search" for kernel images the kernel-tree (kernel-tree-2.6.5 - Linux kernel tree for building prepackaged Debian kernel images) was one of the results

I was wondering if I need to install this either before or after the kernel upgrade; if at all in fact?
