Question Kernel Panic When Trying to install Etch

Hi, I'm trying to install Debian Etch, however, when I finally got the installer to start (just pressing enter didnt work, so I typed /install/2.6/vmlinuz) I get a Kernel Panic saying the root was unable to mount filysystem at (something) block 3,1.

Does anybody have any ideas? Buck

Hi,

You typed the wrong thing. You don't need all that stuff. Just type :

Code:
linux26
at the prompt just at the deb splashscreen before you hit enter and install

begins

cheers
