Just tried to install Debian Lenny Beta2 on my laptop with an older wireless pcmcia card. Install went fine and at install in recognized my network and everything. At reboot at about udev I get a kernel panic and total system freeze. Tried to reboot again without the card plugged in and everything went fine. Tried to plug in the card after logging in and total system freeze again. What can I fix to eliminate this or where should I look? This only seems to be a problem with Debian as I have installed Fedora with udev and had no problems.

Have you enabled the necessary kenel modules or built-in?

Can you use your card if you try to plugg the card after booting?
What say the last three lines before the kernel panic occurs?
