Kernel Error!

During the installation of vmware workstation i had this error message. any suggestion what it could be?

Well what's in setup-5616.log?

You have not provided any useful information. What is in setup-5616.log? If you want good help then you need to be as informative as possible. See also the link in my sig.

Are the kernel headers for the kernel you are running installed? Is the build-essential package installed? Was it working before? What did you change?
