kernel 2.6 mouse psaux
Runing debian unstable,
I have just upgraded from the kernel 2.6.0-1-k7 to 2.6.2-1-k7 and I found that I needed to change the mouse device from /dev/psaux to /dev/input/mouse0 in files /etc/gpm.conf and /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 Is the /dev/psaux device is now deprecated? (see linuxquestions.org questions/history/140046) I hope this helps anyone elso who encounters the same problem |
I think it depends on the distro because in Arch Linux and Gentoo I had to use /dev/misc/psaux with the 2.6.2 kernel in order for my mouse to work correctly.
