Huh, sorry for "noob" question but how exactly can I revert my Debian 8.2 from nvidia to nouveau ? I dunno how to do it..
I used apt-get purge nvidia*
generated new xorg.conf
"egrep -i " connected|card detect|primary dev|Setting driver" /var/log/Xorg.0.log" still gives me "[ 25.757] (--) NVIDIA(0): CRT-0 (boot, connected)"
What is interesting, now I'm able to choose more resolutions for my secondary monitor. This is my xrandr output:
Code:
mister@mister-debian:~$ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 3280 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384

Aspect ratio on this secondary monitor is 16:10 but it shows only 4:3 resolutions. Any idea how to change it to 16:10 or how to switch my drivers to nouveau?

I run openbox without a desktop environment and one of these sets up both my monitors in their optimized states;
For my primary monitor eDP1 and secondary monitor VGA1,
Code:
xrandr --output eDP1 --auto --output VGA1 --auto
                    (OR)
xrandr --output eDP1 --auto --output VGA1 --auto --left-of eDP1
                    (OR)
xrandr --output eDP1 --auto --output VGA1 --auto --right-of eDP1
