You could try to install java direct from sun, if you can find something like the plugin directory that exists in all mozilla browsers, it might work. Is there some reason you're bound to epiphany? I've never used it, it might be great, but are you staying away from iceweasel, firefox, mozilla, opera for some reason?
no when i installed debian etch it was installed by default. i find it kind of slow compared to mozilla whih iuse in dapper. maybe ill remove it and install firefox actually i can install jre1.5 using a program similiar to automatix. its called dcconfig from debcentral.
