Is there any way to install .deb package to Fedora
Yes,
Some .deb packages i have which is for Debian distribution But i have Fedora, is there any utility that i can install it on my System ? Help me Kartik |
You would be better off finding RedHat/Fedora RPMs of the packages in question but if that's not possible, take a look at alien. It converts between package types (but not always successfully).

Thanks
hi,
Thanks for Support Alien is very good (yet some problem is there !) |
That's why it's best to only use fedora packages first, redhat second, then source. Try to avoid using packages created for another distro if at all possible. Your system will run better that way.

apt is supposed to be able to do it from the command line. Install via yum:
yum install aptas root, of course. However, with a little persistence, anything packaged as a deb should also come as an rpm. |
goto rpm.pbone.net
search for packages for your fedora install EDIT: Take note of the required packages |
