Is it possible to intall Gnoppix on desk?

I got the latest Gnoppix but could not get it installed on desk. I tried:
code:
sudo knoppix-installer

but told me unknown command. Then I found out that it is based on Ubunto not Knoppix. I have no clue how to install Ubunto. I made a search in the forum but could not find an answer. Does any body know how to install Gnoppix?

Just a thought but if you are using Gnoopix and not Knoppix should the command be

sudo gnoppix-installer

Maybe not, but worth a try if you have no ideas.

I'm sure there will be documentation on the CD, or on the internet explaining how to install Gnoppix to the hard drive.

As far as I know, it's not possible to install Gnoppix to HD. If you would like a current Gnome-Desktop, get a copy from Ubuntu. Download the "install"-image from here, burn to CD an boot from it. Rest should be a piece of cake!
If Gnome 2.8 ist OK too, go for Debian which I'd recommend.
