Installing kernel source with sarge unstable

I got the weekly build of sarge (netinstall) using the 2.4.26 kernel.

I want to build a package from source, but need a kernel source tree.

Would someone please tell me how to install the kernel source during the sarge installation.

Thanks,

Linux newbies rule!

You may not actually need the entire configured source tree you can just install the kernel headers for the kernel you have running. You would look at the output of uname -r and then apt-get install kernel-headers-output_of_uname_command then ln -s /usr/src/kernel-headers-output_of_uname_command /usr/src/linux and the source you are compiling should use it as if it were the full source. What are you trying to compile BTW?
