inconsistent kallsyms data

When trying to compile a new kernel (2.6.13), I run into this error message. The solution is to set CONFIG_KALLSYMS_EXTRA_PASS, but I have no idea where or how to do this. This is probably a very stupid question, but I'm lost

solution was to go to scripts/kallsyms.c and change:

#define WORKING_SET 1024

to:

#define WORKING_SET 65536
