iceweasel frequently crashes

I am using squeeze. Iceweasel often crashes when I try to open a new page;or when I click on something within a page.
I then used an xterm to open iceweasel, so that I could see what messages occurred during a crash,

Here is one sample crash data:

edhe@hebrews:~/Documents$ iceweasel

Which Debian release are you running and which version of Iceweasel?

Try updating to 8.0 from backports or the mozilla.debian.net repo.

You can also try creating a new profile or running it in Safe-Mode to see if an extension or theme is the cause.

I am running Debian and I want to install version

If I choose either '3.6' or 'release', for version, I get:

You need to add the following entry in /etc/apt/sources.list or a new file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/:

deb http: etc.....

Sorry, this version is not available.

8.0 is the current release version of Iceweasel in the mozilla.debian.net repo.

Just follow the directions on the repos website.
