I installed Debian using the CD and the installation went well and the OS was solid and stable.
However; because I did not use the netinstall it made it harder for me with the internet connection.
It was not as easy as setting up the network manager I had seek assistance from our fourm here to install necessary drivers and set other things up on the system up that I was not aware of.
Just a suggestion; you may want to consider the net install.
Distribution: Debian Wheezy, Jessie, Sid/Experimental, playing with LFS.

Thats one reason I keep an up to date DVD1 on USB.
