How to log on af Synology NAS?

Hey all.

I have a Debian Squeeze Laptop with standard GUI(Lenovo Thinkpad).

Have bought a Synology DS211J NAS.

Now the IP is fixed at 192.168.1.2 and the dir's is named:

Foto
Data
USB

What is the best/most easy way to log into those dir's?

Best regards

According to the specifications your NAS supports the following protocols:

* CIFS
* AFP
* FTP
* WebDAV
* iSCSI
* Telnet
* SSH
* NFS
* SNMP

Either NFS or CIFS (samba) would be work. Depending on what desktop you are running nautilus has a CIFS client built in and so that would be the easiest.

As I understand use it in a Windows network? If yes I have to read how to do that.

Thanks for info.
