How to Debianize self built Firefox ?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I love Iceweasel and use it all the time. However, recently I have been building Firefox from SVN (because I want to file a bug report on an IPv6 issue I noticed). If I'm building my own Firefox how do I get it to recognize plug-ins? and how do I add the Debian search function?

Firefox looks for plugins in several standard locations, listed here. So it should find them automatically as long as you put them in one of these directories.

I don't know what you mean exactly by a Debian search function, unless you mean the Debian search plug-in that's included in the build. If that's the case, you should be able to grab one from the Mycroft page or something, or make one yourself.

Wow! I remember looking at the Mycroft project once before and obviously all I remembered about it was that it was named after Sherlock Holmes' brother. This was a really great site.

Getting to the bottom of 'no-script' is found but 'ad-block' and 'flash' aren't make take longer.

Thank you.

Code:
#cp /usr/lib/nspluginwrapper/plugins/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/
got things working.
