how can make a boot floppy? anxiously!


my windows is attacked with Trojan QQ... whatever, have to reinstall it now,
i don't have a bootfloppy, reinstalling window can eliminate disk/mbr .

i need make a bootfloppy, Do you know it's command or which package is belonged?

thanks in advance.

From memory the command is 'make boot floppy' in Linux speak: mkbootdsk??

Perhaps try doing:
mk <tab>
and looking through the list??

If the kernel is too big, the mkboot might fail. If that fails, see if your system has the root command mkrescue. If it does, try
mkrescue --iso
and burn the rescue.iso file to cd. There will be a menu entry that will boot up using the lilo infomation stored on cd ( instead of the HD entry )
