how can i install debian 5.06 in my pc i have downloaded debian-update-5.0.6-i386-DVD

how can i install debian 5.06 in my pc i have downloaded debian-update-5.0.6-i386-DVD from and dont know what to do after this please help me in this matter while i am using xp right now if there any way to use any utility to install it directly

Boot with it...

The rest of the instructions will be shown on screen on simple dialog boxes.

Burn the file as an iso image to a dvd, and then reboot your computer with the dvd in the drive. This will start the installation process.
