Hi!
I am trying to set a bttv tv card under Debian.
I downloaded and installed tvtime and kradio for tv watching and radio listening, as the card has both. Then, I modprobed bttv, modprobed tuner, no errors.
But when I launch tvtime, I get a "No signal" answer. The screen is blue, I can control tvtime but I don't have any channel.
Kradio outputs me this:

The tv card works ok when I'm in suse. I have more details about it, such as name and brand of chips, type of tuner, etc. But I have no idea where I insert this in Debian. Maybe modules.conf?
system is Debian unstable. Kernel is 2.6.5 for athlon.
were together in this, i'm having the same problem. can you hear any sound? i think you just need to rechannel your tuner. you can re-channel it using the gui interface or byt using a program called tvtime-scanner. it is located in the same directory as tvtime. you can run that program and it will scan the channels for you. by the way, i can hear a buzzing sound while tvtime-scanner scan but couldn't pick up any channel. if you get desperate, install mandrake 10. i tried it before it works, i run tvtime-scanner then tvtime and it works.
