Help ! Package Architecture (uclibc-linux-i386) does not match system (i386)

Hello there. I have built the linux-image deb using uclibc as cross compiler but I failed to install the package to the root file system on my CF card. It shows the following ERROR message :
dpkg: error processing linux-2.6.26_2.6.26-1_uclibc-linux-i386.deb (--install) :
Package architecture (uclibc-linux-i386) does not match system (i386)
Errors were encountered while processing :
What should I do to fix the problem ? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

It's mad. Don't mix glibc compiled and uclibc-compiled on one system. Road to insanity. Everything is compiled against, and on a glibc system. Uclibc behaves differently.

If you're doing this as as the opening act of your suicide, or nervous breakdown
try a uname hack.
Move uname to uname-orig, and drop a script there to cobble your way to wreck things. But you are departing from reality at this point.
