my usb can't be found!I login as the first guest!

when insert usb disk,my System Desktop can't have the usb's icon!!

uhm.. let me start by saying: What?

1- use a more descriptive title
2- what usb cant be found?

3- you login as the first guest? do you have a 2nd guest account or something?

if you want help then tell us what the problem is.

add this to /etc/fstab

#usb disk
/dev/sda1       /media/usb_disk auto    rw,user,auto,umask=0007,gid=1000  0  0

then use '$ mount /media/usb_disk', it will be mounted under directory /media/usb_disk
