HELP!!!!>
I installed knoppix, and it totally screwed up my other hard drive. I installed it on a new hard drive, and when I try to remove it, it just doesnt boot. I CANT reinstall Winxp or insert the knoppix cd, because the knoppix cd Ruined my CD-Rom drive..........
What do you mean by "the knoppix cd Ruined my CD-Rom drive.........."? - is it set to boot in the bios? Will it run any cd? Without info, we really can't help.
A little more detail would be nice. How did it 'ruin' your harddrive, what happens when you boot up? And also, how did knoppix 'ruin' you cdrom? Did the disk break in there or why can't you just physically take it out?
It didnt ruin it, but now im stuck with the lilo boot loader. I right now want to get rid of knoppix and the bootloader. My cd-rom is physically damaged. Can you help??
