I configured KPPP and the followig are my observations Kindly direct me!!!

In my first attempt the log file entries are
ATZ
OK
ATM1L1
OK
ATX3
OK
ATD*99***1# (I cheked with the number:*99**1*1# which used in XP also)
CONNECT ('G' symbol in Mobile is Glowing)
After few seconds a message box is appearing " Time out expired while wating for the PPP interface to come up'

Then I just restart by mobile and tried the same thing but this time the process is not going beyond ATD*99***1.
ATZ
OK
ATM1L1
OK
ATX3
OK
ATD*99***1#
ERROR
