I tried to unmount the partition, and though the button on gparted for 'move/resize' became un-greyed, the next dialog would not allow me to move ntfs and ext3 partitions -- that part of that window was greyed out.
I downloaded gparted from unstable (version 0.3.3) and that version allowed me to resize and move all my partitions, but upon installing it dpkg said that it could not
configure the program, because some of my other packages were from etch and needed to be from sid. It did seem to
install it though, and I tried it and it worked, but my question is, what does 'configure' mean in this context?
(Most people would say I should have used synaptic and changed my sources.list so that I could download the program from sid the normal way, with apt-get or synaptic, but I have dialup and 'apt-get update' takes about an hour for me.)
