gnome application menu issues

I'm running debian sid with gnome 2.10. Everything was fine until I did the last upgrade, and now when I click on the application menu, it flashes up and then disappears. the places and desktop menu are working just fine and if I add an application to the task bar, it is there. Any ideas how to get the application menu to remain when I click on it.

debian sid? are you reading debian mailing list or have you installed apt-listbugs?

I've been watching the mailinglist and some others are having the same issue, but no one really has an answer or fix.

With sid, it is probably just a bug that will be fixed soon, I hope so anyway.

I have noticed this bug on several occassions and the trick for me was to keep pressing on the application menu (The gnome foot) for a few seconds and then navigate to the app I want. Anyway I think it will be fixed at some point soon.
