GLib-GObject-CRITICAL and Pango-CRITICAL on Debian lenny

Hya,

Has anybody seen following message?

Code:
Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_font_find_shaper: assertion `font != NULL' failed

GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_get_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
On Debian Lenny, Toshiba laptop. After last dist-upgrade last night, this happens and firefox crushes. Web search gives me several sites but not quite helpful.

Happy Penguins!
