gcc.real not found by apt-build

Hi everybody,

I'm experimenting with apt-build, recompiling some innocent packages. When I tried recompiling gnome-terminal (and some other packages) I got the message gcc.real not found:

("Onbekend bestand of map" means "unknown file")
Code:
gcc.real: ": Onbekend bestand of map
gcc.real: ": Onbekend bestand of map

It went in a kind of loop, just kept going like this. I can find gcc.real myself: it's in /usr/bin/. It's a symbolic link to gcc-3.3 (also in /usr/bin). I had similar errors with g++.real in other packages.

Can anyone help me? What does this mean? What's going wrong and how can I solve it?

Thanks,

Corien
