Flight Sim


Hi Have installed Flight sim but not performing as expexted
Any one had experance with Linuxz Flight sim
I notce that there is a new Linux Flight sim for puchase
Any one tried that?

From your post we cannot tell which flight sim you have, and you did not say what problems you were having, or the OS, or the platform...

But as GNU/Linux flight simulators go, it is hard to beat Flight Gear - and it is Free as in freedom and price.

1) what did you install ?
2) How did you install it ?
3) what is your operating system ? ( debian)
4) what version is the OS ?
5) do you have a 3d card or a "chip?
6) what is this card or chip?
7) is a driver installed for the card or chip ?
8) what is the driver ?
9) and so on ............................

Hi John VV
1) Instaled all Flight Gear via synaptic
3)Operating system Kubuntu 14.04 AMD 64 bit
5) No 3d card
Not sure about chip
Have use of logtech 3 D pro stick if required

buy a 3d card ,nvidia cards are good .


you will have very crappy performance on a 3d SIM that NEEDS a 3d card if you are using the cpu ONLY
