Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/exaile", line 39, in ?
    from xl import *
  File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/tracks.py", line 18, in ?
    import common, media, db, config, trackslist
  File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/media.py", line 32, in ?
    player = gst.element_factory_make("playbin")
gst.PluginNotFoundError: playbin
Can any one help me with this ?

Just curious: if you're a Gentoo/LSF user, why did you post this question in the Debian forum?

Anyway, I don't know this application, so can't help you on that. Sorry.

I take it the exaile is some kind of media player anyways looks like your missing either/both of the packages below the -plugins or -misc, I'd go with installing the -plugins one myself.

Code:
apt-file search playbin
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base: usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstplaybin.so
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-doc: usr/share/gtk-doc/html/gst-plugins-base-plugins-0.10/gst-plugins-base-plugins-plugin-playbin.html
gstreamer0.8-misc: usr/lib/gstreamer-0.8/libgstplaybin.so

I`ve installed all this .debs but have other problem:
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/exaile", line 1638, in ?
    import xl.dbusinterface
  File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/dbusinterface.py", line 36
    @dbus.service.method("org.exaile.DBusInterface")
    ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

The only thing apt-file comes up with for that is a development package that is for compiling not running programs so I think you may need one of the packages in my second output below, I have the libdbus-1-2 installed out of the ones there so I would give it a try first then install the others if it does not do the job.

Code:
>$ afs dbusinterface
libdbus-qt4-1-dev: usr/include/dbus-1.0/dbus/qdbusinterface.h
Code:
>$ apt-cache search dbus
dbus - simple interprocess messaging system
dbus-1-doc - simple interprocess messaging system (documentation)
dbus-1-utils - simple interprocess messaging system (utilities)
dhcdbd - dbus interface to the ISC DHCP client
hotplug - Linux Hotplug Scripts
libdbus-1-2 - simple interprocess messaging system
libdbus-1-cil - CLI binding for D-BUS interprocess messaging system
libdbus-1-dev - simple interprocess messaging system (development headers)
libdbus-glib-1-2 - simple interprocess messaging system (GLib-based shared library)
libdbus-glib-1-dev - simple interprocess messaging system (GLib interface)
libdbus-qt-1-1c2 - simple interprocess messaging system (Qt-based shared library)
libdbus-qt-1-dev - simple interprocess messaging system (Qt interface)
libdbus-qt4-1-1 - simple interprocess messaging system (Qt4-based shared library)
libdbus-qt4-1-dev - simple interprocess messaging system (Qt4 interface)
libnet-dbus-perl - Perl extension for the DBus message system
monodoc-dbus-1-manual - compiled XML documentation for the D-BUS CLI bindings
python2.4-dbus - simple interprocess messaging system (Python interface)
xfce4-messenger-plugin - Dbus messages plugin for xfce4-panel
acx100-source - ACX100/ACX111 wireless network drivers source
murasaki - another HotPlug Agent
strigi-daemon - fast indexing and searching tool for your personal data (daemon)

Problem was python version I was using. This app need python-2.4, in order to work, I had to change link to /usr/bin/python to point at python2.4
