I`m trying to install exaile. Everything goes well until I run app. I get this error:
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/exaile", line 39, in ?
from xl import *
File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/tracks.py", line 18, in ?
import common, media, db, config, trackslist
File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/media.py", line 32, in ?
player = gst.element_factory_make("playbin")
gst.PluginNotFoundError: playbin
I take it the exaile is some kind of media player anyways looks like your missing either/both of the packages below the -plugins or -misc, I'd go with installing the -plugins one myself.
I`ve installed all this .debs but have other problem:
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/exaile", line 1638, in ?
import xl.dbusinterface
File "/usr/share/exaile/xl/dbusinterface.py", line 36
@dbus.service.method("org.exaile.DBusInterface")
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
The only thing apt-file comes up with for that is a development package that is for compiling not running programs so I think you may need one of the packages in my second output below, I have the libdbus-1-2 installed out of the ones there so I would give it a try first then install the others if it does not do the job.
