A backport of Ximian Evolution 1.4.4 is now available for Debian GNU/Linux 3.0

Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list:

# Ximian Evolution 1.4.4 for Woody
deb http://apt.bxlug.be/ evolution1.4/

Then apt-get update and apt-get upgrade
Can I just install this for my new Woody installation?! Or do you think it will get upset?

Add the line apt-get update and simulate the install with apt-get -s install evolution if the output of the command looks promising then remove the -s to install. To answer the question there is no way to tell how it will react in your install it depends on how the package maintainer did the backport and if you are running any other backports that may cause some conflicts.
