Etch(testing) GNOME splash screen hangs...
 

I installed Etch using netinstall cd,then uses apt-pinning for getting up2date packages from unstable and Experimental.
Now if i logon to Gnome,everything loads fine,though gnome-panels a little bit slow.and main problem is GNOME Splash Screen sticks on/hangs even after everythings loaded,so help:)

Mine does the same thing... If you click your mouse on the splash screen, does it go away then?

I keep waiting for some mysterious update to fix this for me...

yeah if i click mouse on the splash screen it goes...waiting 4 a soltn :( perhaps need 2 wait until GNOME 2.16 release :p
