"testing" 2.6
when doing su (after typing password) I get :
"configuration error - unknown item 'FAIL_DELAY' (notify administrator)"
however its switch to root.
What is this error ?

Just modify the login.defs in /etc (nano /etc/login.defs or use instead of nano whatever you like) and comment the FAIL_DELAY line, it will not affect you at all
