Don't Aoutmaticly Start XDM on Startup.

Im using Debian 6.0.3 on just command line tools, XDM, and blackbox. XDM starts automaticly on startup (normal startup) is there a way to make it so I have to do this manualy (type xdm on command line)?

Code:
update-rc.d xdm disable
should prevent XDM from being started at boot time, IIRC. For more infor look at the man page for that command.

Will this work for all display managers? I'm thinking about getting more RAM then upgrading to LXDE and LXDM.

This will work for any service, so yes, it will work for LXDM.
