dell keyboard not recognized in debian install 2.4 boot
too weird....
i can boot with the debian cd options linux, compact, vanilla, default <enter> etc... and my keyboard is easily recognized. when i boot using bf24 <which i really need to or else it's struggle with creating some ultra100 module floppies.. see http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...765#post541765 for details> then my keyboard is just ...dead... so... i use.. boot: bf24 bootkbd=qwerty/us <also works with every other boot option> nope... still not good....keyboard Still dead anyone have any ideas? the debian cd's i have are from AACDS.com and they are debian 3.0 R1. My desktop is a dell 8250 with a standard dell keyboard. thanks for any ideas :) toad |
