[SOLVED] debian9 iso hybrid installer doesn't work

burned to usb stick, also burned to dvd. Tried both ways. It complaints about not finding CDROM. From terminal mount shows my usb stick is mounted as CDROM.
And if you think the issue is fairly reproducible, and have checked your hardware and ISO image checksum, it may be worthwhile to file a bug report as Debian 9 is fresh off the press.
I didn't see any workarounds, nor know of any off the top of my head than maybe trying a different image or using a CD. Maybe installing then upgrading from 8? - although that wouldn't leave as robust a system as a freshly installed 9 system.
