Debian wheezy amd64: runPMV (mgltools) dies.

Hya,

System
amd64 Debian wheezy (current as of Wed Dec 14 10:29:42 UTC 2011)
For some unknown reason, both python2.6 and python2.7 are installed.

Symptom
runPMV (mgltools-pmv :non-free) does not kick in, error message is
Code:
>runPmv
Run PMV from  /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/Pmv
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/Pmv/__init__.py", line 381, in runPmv
    title=title, withShell= not interactive, verbose=False, gui=gui)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/Pmv/moleculeViewer.py", line 888, in __init__
    trapExceptions=trapExceptions)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/ViewerFramework/VF.py", line 369, in __init__

Solution
remove python2.6 and reinstall mgltools-pmv.

If your penguin still chokes
You are such a lucky guy, you still have a chance to improve your troubleshooting skill.

Closing remark
Happy Penguins!
