debian stuck within 32bit chroot on 64bit sarge

I logged in my 64bit sarge then via the terminal accessed my 32bit chroot but then i logged off without logging out of the chroot. Now everytime I load up debian it boots into the chroot instead of my main 64bit sarge system. Is there anyway I can get back into my 64bit sarge? #

you can chroot back into your 64 bit. Try:
Code:

chroot / /bin/bash

my apt-get config is messed up could u send me a working sources file. The ones in the sticky dont work for sarge. they report errors saying it cant find files release.gz or somthing

they should work, i have SID, so all mine are pointing to unstable, but something like:
Code:

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sarge main
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sarge main

should work.

ah ok i'll try that

Doesn't work. It detects it as a hit then fails with an error saying it cant retrieve ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/release

unable to find expected entry.

well something must be wrong. Try other repositories, like kernel.org and so on. You should be able to find some more stable/sarge ones in the sources.list post. Like i said it's working for me, so i don't see why it doesn't for you.
