debian sid and its rock solid kde

i am surprised as too see kde 3.5, which has just been accepted into debian sid, is such a rock solid beast, it's true debian users usually have to wait for months just to get their favorite apps moved to sid, but the quality of these packages is simply amazing... so far kde 3.5 on debian sid has been performing way better than that kde 3.5 mess I tried on kubuntu... well, that's it, just wanted to let you guys know ^^ cheers

Did you try "aptitude -t unstable install kde-amusements"? What does it say?

I managed to install KDE by selecting kdebase instead of the all encompassing KDE package.

Works fine.

Same on my box, there is a popup , still the action is correctly executed for one file. If you select multiple files, only the last one gets the chmod.

For me, The BIG improvement is a gui for handling POSIX ACL.

After 2 months of using it and upgrading every day, I only discovered the above bug.

There are a few things I still haven't understood: specific settings for window/application...

edit:
a few things not working properly for OpenGL kde screensavers (not the ones coming from the original xscreensaver)
