Debian servers down?!!

Crikey!
Tried downloading Lenny from the link at distrowatch yesterday nor from a torrent at Linux tracker so ended up getting simply mepis instead but that isn't finding the debian repos to update either. Is something going wrong?

Hmmm I thought I had... but I just tried now and there i is. strange experience though, on two computers at two isp's no luck even trying o find mirrors but as we speak well here it comes the netinstall.

but as you suggest via the debian site http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/5.0.3/i386/iso-cd/ yup, it's happening.
feel a bit foolish but certain I'd tried this earlier.

Hmmm... well doenloaded the net install iso fine and it began the process but again told me that it couldn't connect with repos for security and volatile at debian.org but carried on anyway... then hung. Haven't had this problem ever with the debian install. Disrepair, temporarilly down for repair or something strange with my i.s.p. I guess... I do owe them 20 bucks.
