debian sarge & acx100 wlan problem

Trying to connect to the internet with an DWL-G520+ (acx111) & a freshly installed Debian sarge r0a (only installed the first cd & manually downloaded & installed the packets i needed for dependency reasons). i used the testing-pkg of acx100 because of association probs i experienced with older versions.

after having installed the driver using this howto and the README.Debian file of the package, i could ping my router & could ping the dns-server & saw that /etc/resolv.conf looked correctly. but when i tried to ping let's say google, i got "host unreachable".

in the past (with mandrake & slackware), i used to install the driver by compiling it manually, maybe i should try it that way?

If you can ping within the lan then the card is working. The problem revolves around resolution. Check that the DNS addresses in /etc/resolv.conf are correct.
