Debian rescue mode

Hi!
In the hypothetical situation of a corrupt Lilo, how does one reinstall LiLo on the MBR. I have a Debian Sarge 3.0 DVD, I am unable to figure out a way of entering the rescue mode using the Debian DVD.
Thanking in advance,
