Hi guys,
I usually jaunt happily around the Slackware forum giddily commenting and seeking aid, however, today I am in a whole new world of ouch. I just bought a shiny, gleaming Mac Mini (it's all the iPod's fault). I got the install done perfectly well and ol' Sarge is gleefully beating that lefty hippy liberal Apple hardware into a fast smooth and deadly machine... A very quiet one. I have checked out the excellent Linux on the Mac Mini site and checked a few boards. As near as I can figure, Apple's Intrepid Audio setup is the problem. I may not be reading this right, I also may have missed something. If anyone has even the most remote clue about this I would be greatly appreciative. The actual error is of the can't find Sound Server... no /dev/dsp... will continue with null device etc... variety. Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Cheers,
Kurt M. Wisener
