Question Debian on Raspberry Pi 2?

Hi, i would like to install Debian Jesse (if possible, otherwise any debian version would be ok) on my Raspberry Pi 2.
I googled a lot but i can't find anything, it's possible to do so?
Thanks in advance

The system on the Pi is a special Debian one for the ARM CPU from the Pi. Normal Debian will not work...
When you are really interested you should have read that already....

It's because originally RPi is ARMv6 based, not ARMv7 or higher. Now that RPi2 is ARMv7 based.. you'd think a debootstrap with a device-tree layout would work... Oh well. I mean, PINE64 is probably a better choice future-wise since it's ARM 64-bit.

The Pine64 holds a lot of promise, but they've had a rough ride trying to fulfil all the Kickstarter backers. The usual story of late delivery, lack of communication, but it seemed this was more so for this board. They've also had a real struglle getting a stable O/S released.

Hopefully they'll be able to get some traction before it's too late. If you're interested I've put up a YouTube review on it.
