Debian net installer

I seem to remember that last time I used the net installer there was an option for "Desktop Environments" or something similar but now it's gone.. But I'm still left with mail server, print server, file server etc..

Does anyone know how to get it back or why its gone?

I was going to continue without using it and was going to use apt to get gnome and gdm installed. But then I wouldn't know how to launch gdm on startup. Plus the fact when I run gdm it tells me it can't start the x server etc etc.. It was a lot easier when desktop environments was an option in the installer..

I recently installed Sarge and as soon as I apt-get install gdm and reboot GDM automatically starts.

i just did an install and that was there. i got my image back in july so not sure if they updated it, but if you install gnome and gdm you also need x-window-system. gdm will start on its own
