Hello

I've Debian Lenny setup & working at my small office laptop machine. Im running Xfce based environment which I target to have as lightweight packages as possible.
However I'm not able to browse & use any of the Windows Shares which are available in Office network(Several Vista PC have got shared folders accessible)

For instance
My Ip 192.168.1.34

I need to connect to a PC with IP 192.168.1.33 which(I know :-)) has got several folders shared on the network.
Workgroup name is WORKGROUP

what are settings I need to put in smb.conf to be able to browse shares.. ?

Currently using xsmbrowser as helper application.

You don't need Samba server running on your Linux box. - just smbclient or the equivalent. Nautilus and other GUI programs will do this also. Can you ping these Windows boxes?
