Debian Installation from HDD probs..

I'm attempting to install debian from my hdd but keep having problems... My cdrom is busted otherwise I would just install it that way, my bios won't allow usb boot, and debian says my network card is botched.. I have everything extracted to my hdd, is there an easy way to get it to install from lilo?

Once you have the iso files on your harddisk, download the boot floppies to start the install from the harddisk isos. Of course, this assumes you have a floppy drive, if not, I'd reccommend 'borrowing' a CD/DVD drive from another computer (unless it is a laptop).

I have the same problem!!!

Hey,

I have the same problem, my laptop's cd is just dead and I have no floppy in it... it's a powerbook and i managed to get OSX installed from a firewire cd drive (that's not recognized by my etch disk).

What can I do?
