Debian instal

Hi everybody

I installed SuSe 9.1 on my job computer in dual boot with Win XP and they working good.
Installing a Linux on my computer is new age in my computing really.

I decided to install Debian on my home computer and use it as only operating system ,but I never instal it before so I am confused how to do it.

So I am asking all of you to give me tips and tricks which I should a care about...
Is there printscreans which i can download, or some useful manualws?

http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=2016 This is the very verbose debian installation guide. It uses the woody CDs which are old. So instead I'd use the sarge netinstaller or sarge CDs. Though not everything might be the same in the installations I recommend you read the guide since it tells you a lot about what can come up.

Definitely install Sarge instead of Woody!
