Smile Debian How to Install

In Debian Mirrors.
There are totally fourteen CDs of 4.0 etch..
What is the minimum no. of CDs required for installing a complete Desktop with X11 + KDE.
Sorry for such an idiotic Question. But I badly need it. Coz my bandwidth is low

Hi.

The first 2 CD is enough, but you can use netinstall CD which is only 150 MB and donwload only the necesearly packages.

Use mirror close to you or http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/4.0_r0/i386/iso-cd/
if must.

Actually, you only need 1 cd if, at the link provided above, you get "debian-40r0-i386-kde-CD-1.iso" instead of "debian-40r0-i386-CD-1.iso"

Depending on what you mean by "my bandwidth is low," you may still be better off with the NetInstall, following these instructions.
