Debian Boot Disc

Hi

Can someone guide me where can I get debian boot disk ?(one like red hat or suse has to boot into debian system). I have installed debian onto usb drive and I want to boot into it so that I can make an custom initrd image and make booting from usb-modules work. Also trying knoppix/other debian based distros does not work as they boot me into them and even when I do chroot, basically all the enviornment remains that of knoppix/or boot-cd

thanks

Concerning a boot disk, hmm, what do you mean, something like a boot disk for LILO/GRUB, or something like a "rescue disk"?

As far as the environment remaining the same as knoppix, just create a .bashrc in your home directory on the usb disk with the env options you want, "chroot" then "bash --rcfile /path/to/.bashrc".
