Debian/Banzai KDE won't start

I've tried to start up KDE with the command:
"startx" but it tels me I have a fatal error "no screens"
I have used X -configure and dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 but still Xfree86 won't load. Any ideas?

dpkg-reconfigure is the way to go. try adding option -s if you are running stable. Configure with low resolution and color depth, to see if it works. You may also need specific modules for your graphics card if you want higer resolution and color depth.
